Beautiful Bedford, Va., located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge, is a quaint town where the warmth of its residents can be seen throughout. Since my husband is a car buff, we ventured into the town to participate in one of their center town events- a Friday night Cruise-In. Rolling onto Main and Bridge St., cars, trucks and a few motorcycles parked to share their prize possessions for others to see
From a Minion designed car to a vintage police cruiser, the sites were a joy to behold. Elegant new corvettes, collector mustangs and tricked up specialties lines the street. With a band playing in the town square, may gathered to enjoy a wonderful spring evening.
The businesses that line the streets opened their doors for both food and beverages such as Clamdiggers– a local restaurant and bar. Offering savory seafood dishes and light fare, the crowd seemed to be mostly regulars, all joining together to share a good time! Starting at 8pm, a local band takes to the stage to entertain the patrons.
If you love small towns, you will love Bedford!
